Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology and Applied Geomatics.

Igneous petrology students and their professor (Sandra Barr) and TA (Alicia Moning) enjoyed a field trip to look at granite varieties in the South Mountain Batholith during their lab on October 10th

On the afternoons of the first week of October, the first year class left the lab to visit the outcrops at Horton Bluff.

Several Acadia members participated in the 10-year celebration of Joggins Fossil Cliffs as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
