Beaubassin Student Research Workshop
Eleven second and third year Acadia students had the opportunity to experience Beaubassin and learn about field research opportunities in biology and environmental science.

Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology, Environmental Science and Applied Geomatics.

The 2022-2023 CSEG Distinguished Lecture Tour speaker, Dr. Rachel Newrick, visited Acadia on 4 October. A full house audience enjoyed and learned from her presentation on the bright future of Geophysics.
Acadia students Jessie Wilson and Kristine Hanifen are joining former coast guard icebreaker CCGS Sir Humphrey Gilbert for Ocean Conservation Expedition 2022, centered on the Bay of Fundy.
