Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology, Environmental Science and Applied Geomatics.
The 2020 newsletter was sent out to over 800 alumni/ae. In it you can read about our department, some new faces, highlights of the year, upgrades to our facilities, and of course news of the alumni/ae from all corners of the globe.
New thin sectioning equipment was installed in the Acadia Petrographic Lab earlier this year. We had hoped to have a "ribbon-cutting event", although that will now have to wait.
The Acadia Alumni Association announced that Dr. Ian Spooner is the recipient of the 2020 Acadia Alumni Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.
