CSEG Speaker 2022 - Dr. Rachel Newrick
Acadia Earth and Environmental Science was very pleased to host Dr. Rachel Newrick, the 2022-2023 CSEG Distinguished Lecturer on 4 October. The Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists sponsors an annual tour of Canadian universities, allowing students across the country to learn more about the role of geophysics in industry and research. Dr. Newick is an exploration geophysicist working and teaching internationally with a focus on seismic interpretation and is past-president of the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences.
Dr. Newrick was clearly enchanted by Acadia, as can be seen from her blog, and her compilation of scenes around the department!
