Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology and Applied Geomatics.

Prof. Peir K. Pufahl just returned from Morocco where he presented a plenary talk at Phosphate Days 2018, an international conference focused on phosphate fertilizer research. 

Students at Acadia welcomed Carson Brown, CSPG University Outreach Speaker to the department on 5 November. His talk, "Career Advice from a young geoscientist in the petroleum industry" provided many tips for graduates from the E&ES department, seeking employment in the energy field.

Ten Acadia students and professors attended the 68th annual Atlantic Universities Geoscience Conference in Dalhousie University on the first weekend of November. Congratulations to Garrett Velkjar, winner of the AGS Environmental Geoscience prize!
