Adjunct professor Deanne van Rooyen (Cape Breton University) provided us with some dramatic images of folded basaltic flows from her work in northern Quebec.

The 46th Colloquium and Annual General Meeting of the Atlantic Geoscience Society were held at the Holiday Inn, Truro, Nova Scotia, on February 7 to 8, 2020. Twenty Acadia students and professors attended the two days of talks and posters and two Acadia alumni were recognized for the long-time commitment to science.

Acadia University today announced the appointment of Dr. Ian Spooner as the Director of Research at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens.
