Helicopter work in the Cape Breton Highlands

Acadia MSc student Caleb Grant was able to collect rock samples from the most remote parts of his thesis area in the Cape Breton Highlands by helicopter on July 4th.

Jeff Parks, Acadia Geology graduate, takes office as President of Geoscientists Canada

On June 15, 2019, at the 59th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Geoscientists Canada in Toronto, ON, Jeff Parks, P.Geo, FGC, took office as President for 2019-2020, after serving a year as President-Elect. Jeff was a graduate of Acadia in 1987.
