Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology, Environmental Science and Applied Geomatics.
Twelve students and Environmental Science professor Dr. Nelson O'Driscoll attended the annual Science Atlantic Environment Conference at St. Francis Xavier University on 8-9 March. Congratulations to Sarah Stewart and Sara Adams, both second-place finishers for their presentations in the undergraduate and graduate categories.
Laura McNeil, an MSc graduate in Geology, has been credited with the discovery of a set of tracks of the dimetrodon Bathygnathus borealis in Prince Edward Island National Park.
