The Environmental Science Field School course (ENVS 2523) was back in person this year with a full class of 23 students. Daily exercises were instructed by professors from many departments at Acadia as well as government scientists.
Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology, Environmental Science and Applied Geomatics.
Three projects arising from the Earth and Environmental Science Department were funded from the Acadia University Research Fund for work this summer.
