GEOL student Keaton Markham selected for Student-Industry Field Trip in Alberta and the Rockies!

Geology student awarded place on the annual CEGA Student-Industry Field Trip

Keaton Markham, a 4th year GEOL student (and Fletcher Club president) has been selected for the annual Student Industry Field Trip (SIFT) organized and sponsored by the Canadian Energy Geoscience Association taking place in May 2024. The program is designed as an intensive two-week introduction to the oil and gas industry, the geology of Western Canada, and to establish links between industry professionals and university students. SIFT is all expenses paid, two-week program that involves lectures and seminars, two field trips through the mountains, visits to the AER core repository, and project work to test and reward the candidates.
