Moving Day!
In June EES had to move the archival rock storage collection from the basement of Highland House to the garage of the Wong Centre. This does not seem like a big deal, but we can attest to the fact that it was a huge project! All the archival samples were moved, one wire basket or bucket at a time... After a very hot, very dusty day the team members were thrilled with the sight of well-organized, accessible sample baskets. We will enjoy the new space, and the Department of Community Development has assured us that they will miss their basement gremlins... Highland's haunted house reputation will likely be consigned to the history books....
