Let's talk about money...
The University Research Fund at Acadia is a competitive internal grant program that is a very important source of funding for faculty research, specifically in supporting student projects. In 2025 the Department of Earth and Environmental Science was very successful in obtaining funding from this program, many of the student projects highlighted on our News pages are being funded through this program, usually in combination with other funding sources.
We are very grateful to Acadia University for supporting faculty and student research with this fund!
