Mineral Deposits course field trip
Students in the fourth-year mineral deposits course took advantage of the last weekend before lab tests and exams to visit important sites in the Meguma terrane.
Earth and Environmental Science at Acadia offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science, Geology and Environmental Geoscience, and M.Sc. degrees in Geology, Environmental Science and Applied Geomatics.

The Environmental Science field school will be incorporating some use of iNaturalist this year and we encourage our alumni and previous students to get involved with helping to ID and verify our student observations.

As the end of term approaches, students have nominated Parker Ingham as the recipient of the Linda Lusby Award in Environmental Science and Cameron Greaves as the recipient of the Harcourt Cameron Award in Geology.
