Departmental News

We are very proud of the twelve students from Environmental Science and Environmental and Sustainability Studies (ESST) programs who attended the Science Atlantic Environment Conference last week (March 20-22, 2025) at Mount Allison University with Dr. Nelson O’Driscoll.

The annual EES Student Banquet took place on March 14th. Students and faculty gathered in Clark Commons for a great meal and excellent entertainment. The photo booth and kahoot competition were huge hits, everyone had a great time. Dr. David McMullin gave a wonderful talk about his career in and out of geology, and everyone greatly enjoyed hearing about his adventures! Thank you to Dr. McMullin for being an absolutely vital core part of the department for so many years!

Thank you to all the ESSA and Fletcher members who organized the event!
