"I had an amazing time at PDAC this year! Presenting my honours research alongside 87 of my peers was intimidating but also a great learning experience. I think my favourite part of the conference was networking with potential employers and students from other universities! Thank you to the Acadia Students Union, PDAC, Bayside Geoscience and Groundtruth Exploration for their support in getting us to Toronto!" - Keaton Markham

"The highlight of PDAC 2024 for me was engaging with industry peers, companies, and friends. The experience formed meaningful connections which are of importance for professional growth." - Jonathan Koulouras

"My first time at PDAC will forever be a memory I cherish. I had an absolutely incredible time interacting with so many people from students, to industry, to many people who help run the PDAC, with the highlight being meeting so many students who share my passion. A huge thank you to the Leishman family for supporting me to go to Toronto and experience more of our amazing geology community." - Hayley Newell

Acadia MSc student Amanda Smith was selected as one of six finalists for the Prospect Generation Challenge.  The challenge is a “Dragon’s Den” style event that will be held during the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2024 Convention in Toronto, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 where finalists pitch a mineral exploration target.
