Archaeology Field Course

The Department of Earth and Environmental Science is hosting a 2-day informal not-for-credit field course in Archaeology on Sept 29, 30. It will be limited to 15 participants. Many sources have indicated that some exposure to field archaeology is essential for those considering (or involved in) a science, policy, or government career broadly based in the environment.

The course is open to any interested students (undergraduate and graduate) or staff across faculties. Cost will be $30 and lunch will be provided. It will run from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The course will take place in Grand Pre where permitting is in place. The instructor will be Aaron Taylor (Ph. D. candidate Dalhousie).

See the course flier for more details.
