This talk will provide practical guidance on evaluating journals and recognizing red flags associated with predatory journals. Discover strategies and resources and apply reliable tools to make informed decisions about where to publish.
Ann Smith has been a science liaison librarian at the Vaughan Memorial Library since 2002. She is responsible for open access, open knowledge, and open educational resources. She is currently the Co-Chair of the Council of Atlantic Academic Libraries (CAAL) Scholarly Communications Committee. Ann is a Past President of the Atlantic Provinces Library Association.
