Joggins Research Symposium

2018 marks the Joggins Fossil Cliffs’ 10th anniversary as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! As part of the festivities, we are organizing a research symposium in order to highlight recent research conducted at Joggins and work relevant to the site and the Pennsylvanian in general. Talks and posters for both scientific research and education/outreach are encouraged.
We invite you to participate in this symposium by attending and/or presenting: mark your calendars for Saturday, September 22, 2018! Registration costs will be kept at a minimum, especially for students. We are seeking abstracts for both oral and poster sessions. Our model for talks will be based on the “Pecha Kucha” style wherein presentations will be 5-7 minutes long, allowing for plenty of time for discussion during formal and informal intervals during the symposium.

Registration dates: August 1 – September 14, 2018
