Acadia University is located in Wolfville, in the eastern Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia:

approximately one hour's drive northwest of Halifax (see location map). The Department of Earth and Environmental Science is located in Huggins Science Hall and the KC Irving Environmental Science Centre, on the western side of the Acadia campus (note this view is to the southwest).
