Description:

 

·        Small bushy plant 5-20 cm tall

·        Leaves are dense and finely divided resembling the leaves of a carrot plant

·        Numerous discoid flower heads 6-8 mm wide with a cone shaped receptacle

·        Oval bracts with wide transparent margins form the involucre 4-5 mm high

·        Plant has an odour suggestive of pineapple

·        Farmyards

·        Roadsides

·        Waste places

·        Wherever soil is disturbed or packed
