Description:

·        Plant with spoon-shaped leaves arising on petioles from base of plant

·        No leaves on the stem

·        Small lavender or bluish papery flowers are arranged in wide corymbs

·        Sometimes a few hairs can be found towards base of calyx

Habitat:

·        Salt marshes

·        Seashore
