Description:

·        More variable than other hawkweeds

·        20-100 cm tall

·        Leaves are narrow, lance shaped and widest at the tip

·        Leaves shiny and nearly smooth on the upper surface

·        Crowded flower heads with the involucre approximately 7mm high

Habitat:

·        Fields, pastures, roadsides and waste spots

Distribution:

·        Hay fields/cow pasture
